How we do a LARP, our way. Now, a lot of our members are also Stage Steel fighters and/or interetsed in reenactment and SCA. Not all of them as you will see from the pics, but some. Also take note we are armour whores for the most part. This one was what we call a "LARPie" meaning a one day affair that does usually not involve more than 20 or so people. We also do not rent a truck to get lots of stuff to the location, so there is very limited costumes etc. that we can use fo rthe NPCs. It was big fun nonetheless.
It all started innocently enough... 4 squires, an archer and a clerk go for a patrol in the woods

Damian kit: Arms and legs and spaulders from Armourer Eric (James River Armoury), Greaves and Wisby COP #1 from local armourer. Damian has is also interested in fighting SCA, so he made sure his kit was SCA legal.
Shawn's kit: Scale Armour by me, spaulders from Caleb, elbows by Wise Ogre, full greaves from Russian armoury. He is also putting together a 15th century outfit, but does not want to wear it until it is fully assembled.
Gregory's kit: spaulders from Ld.William Avery, butted haubergeon from local maker, helmet from Czech smith, Lamellar plates (under taberd) from Pheylin Quinn / Massa G. Greaves from local armourer.
Who the heck is this now?
Pirates in the woods, looking for their ship? Maybe that last mead was a bit strong...?
Just one more mile to go, then we are home free...
... to freak the mundanes at the local KFC.
